Nail polish and acetone-based remover are both flammable liquids. In the cabin each container must be 100ml or less and go in the 1L bag, and remover gets no exemption. Checked baggage allows them within the 2kg (2L) per-person toiletry cap, with no container over 500ml. Individually sealed remover pads are not counted as a liquid, so they can stay out of the bag.
