E-scooters, self-balancing wheels and hoverboards carry lithium batteries well over 160Wh, so they are barred from both the cabin and the hold. Korean carriers refuse them whether or not the battery is detached. A small model with a removable battery of 100Wh or less could in theory travel as battery-in-cabin plus body-checked, but airlines judge this differently and without confirming beforehand you will be leaving it at the airport.
